3. Information We Collect

3.1 Bluetooth Data

The App scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices to detect potential tracking devices. This data includes:

• Device identifiers: MAC addresses of detected devices
• Signal strength: RSSI values to estimate proximity
• Device type classification: Identification of tracker type (AirTag, Tile, etc.)

3.2 Location Data (Optional)

When you grant location permission:

• GPS coordinates: Recorded during scans to determine if a tracker is following you
• Storage: Stored locally on your device only
• Transmission: Never transmitted to external servers

3.3 Scan History

The App stores a history of your scans including:

• Timestamps of scans
• Locations where scans were performed (if enabled)
• Detected devices and their classifications

4. How We Use Your Information

All data collected by TrackerDetector is used solely to:

• Detect nearby Bluetooth tracking devices
• Identify suspicious devices that may be following you
• Alert you when potential stalking is detected
• Maintain a local history of scans for your reference

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Local Storage

6.2 Your Control

Your data remains under your control at all times. You can:

• Clear your scan history from the App settings
• Delete device lists and whitelist entries
• Uninstall the App to remove all data

• Scan History: Until you manually clear it or uninstall the app
• Device Lists: Until you manually clear them or uninstall the app
• AdMob Data: Subject to Google policies (typically 26 months)

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Google AdMob

The free version of TrackerDetector displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information for ad personalization, including:

• Advertising Identifier: Unique ID to show relevant ads
• Device Information: Model, OS version, screen resolution
• Interaction Data: Ad clicks, view time

7.2 Google Play Billing

If you purchase the Pro version, the transaction is processed by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your information. You can:

• Delete: Scan history at any time
• Clear: Suspicious device lists
• Manage: Your whitelist of trusted devices
• Remove: All data by uninstalling the App

9.1 Permission Management

You can manage app permissions:

• Android: Settings > Apps > TrackerDetector > Permissions
• Background Location: Can be disabled if you don't need 24/7 monitoring
• Notifications: Configurable from system settings

10. Children's Privacy

TrackerDetector is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. Changes to this Policy
